1-2-1 Support

Informal coaching, support work and accountability

I've been supporting individuals and teams for my whole life; through my former mainstream career as a manager, to my role as an informal coach and paid support worker and most importantly in my role as a mother and partner.

Here are some of the ways I have supported people on a 1-2-1 basis;

  • Neurodivergent support worker through Access to Work; offering accountability, admin and wider support work, deep listening, body doubling and physical support at in-person events

  • Informal coaching; discussions and deep listening to help guide people through career transitions, finding work with purpose and connections to resources and further support, job applications and interview preparation

Availability

My ability to offer 1-2-1 support depends on my work and caring demands, which fluctuate over time. Please get in touch with me to discuss how and when I might be able to support you.

Cost

I understand the 1-2-1 support listed above is varied and your support needs will be unique. The cost of my time is flexible to meet your unique needs and circumstances.

Whilst I would love to offer my time freely our economic system acts as a barrier to making this a reality; however in the spirit of prefigurative politics I am open to discussing different means of exchange, reciprocity or paying it forward.

As a guide; support work funded by DWP's Access to Work scheme pays £15-25 per hour. My consultancy rate is £50 per hour.

Informal coaching is offered in line with the Gift Economy, meaning I offer my time freely to support you because this aligns with my right livelihood calling. If you find speaking to me helpful you will have the opportunity to donate money to me as a gift. The amount is completely up to you; a guideline can be an amount that feels generous but doesn't hurt you. Using the pay it forward approach, if you not in a position to support me financially you can show your gratitude through exchange, writing a testimonial or sharing my work with others.
